Welcome to Team IMBA!

Team IMBA’s second annual event was held at the 24 Hours of Moab on October 11-12. With 19 team members (6 teams total), and a well stocked Camp IMBA, Team IMBA continued its high-energy presence for IMBA, raising over $10,000 for trail projects. Members signed up from all over the US and Canada and were outfitted by Ergon, Ryders, Pactimo, Camelbak and GT Bicycles. This year, riders were spurred on by the possibility of winning a 2009 GT Marathon Carbon Pro mountain bike valued at $4,299. GT Bicycles is the title sponsor of the Team IMBA program

Interested in a crack at winning the GT bike? Even if you are not signed up for the 2008 Moab race you can still get in on the action. Register for Team IMBA prior to Dec. 31, 2008 and begin training and fundraising for any event in 2009 — your name will be included in the 2008 prize drawing.

What is Team IMBA?

If you love trails, love what IMBA does, and have always wanted to do more to help us in the mission to create, preserve and enhance great riding -- here's your chance. Team IMBA gives riders the opportunity to train for and compete in any mountain biking event, including the world-famous 24 Hours of Moab. You'll benefit from professional training advice and build connections with other riders, all while showing your support for IMBA's local and national trailbuilding efforts.

Team IMBA riders agree to raise a minimum of $1,000 for trails -- we'll show you how! You'll earn great prizes as you climb toward your fundraising goal, and have a heck of a lot of fun along the way. Funds raised by Team IMBA riders are split 50/50 between your local IMBA chapter and IMBA's national trailbuilding efforts.

All Team IMBA riders benefit from great incentives provided by our generous corporate supporters: CamelBak packs, Ergon grips, Pactimo jerseys, Ryders eyewear, and Western Spirit bike tours.

Join Team IMBA at 24 Hours of Moab

• Join us for the world's most prestigious 24-hour race, Oct. 11-12 (2009 dates coming soon).
• You receive special event registration through IMBA.
• Leading up to the race, riders receive jerseys, custom training plans, website support and much more.
• Flagship event is fully supported with reserved campground space, hot meals, massages and pro bike mechanics.

Or, Create Your Own Team IMBA Event

• Turn any individual or team mountain bike event into an IMBA fundraiser.
• Signup for your chosen event through the event promoter.
• Register for Team IMBA -- teams or individuals can participate.
• Build your web page and identify your local IMBA connection.
• Train for your event and share your web page with your friends, family, co-workers and community.
