If you know me, you know how important mountain biking is to me and what a big role it plays in my life. Now is a time to give back.

I decided to get involved as a fundraiser for IMBA because I've been inspired by the great work they do building and protecting trails, creating community, and advocating for a cause I care about.

Our efforts will help ensure that mountain bike trails throughout the country will be protected.

Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition

Part of the reason I chose to live in Harrisonburg, Virginia was the unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities that we are surrounded with. My local IMBA-affiliated club, the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, ensures there are always great cycling events, dedicated trail building and maintenance efforts, and other great activities. The SVBC is an exceptional club and unique community. Joining Team IMBA is a great way for me to partner with my club to shoot for a fundraising goal that will continue the good work that IMBA is all about!

My goal is to raise $1,000 for Team IMBA. I appreciate your support in this effort. If I reach my goal early, I hope you'll make a donation to one of my fellow SVBC team members.

The Hoo-Ha is Coming to Town

One of the races I look forward to each summer is the Massanutten Hoo-Ha Cross Country. This year the event is celebrating it's twenty-first running and teaming up with IMBA as a Team IMBA Event. The Hoo-Ha is also a stop on the Kenda Cup East series and will feature some great new trails built by hard working members of the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, so there are tons of reasons why the twenty-first annual Hoo-Ha is going to be better than ever!
