Update from Washington DC: Help Save RTCA 

This week, mountain bikers and other cyclists are in Washington D.C. at the National Bike Summit, working on issues that affect riding in your backyard. Please support IMBA's campaign to fully fund the Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) program by writing to your congressional leaders today! The RTCA is an effective program that deserves your support.

Highlights from the National Bike Summit include:

  • More than 300 advocates championing important bike issues
  • Deputy Secretary of the Interior Lynn Scarlett talking about how to get more kids mountain bicycling on public lands.
  • IMBA's Jenn Dice testifying for a House subcommittee on the power of mountain bike tourism.
  • Dozens of meetings on how to protect public lands and maintain bicycle access.

Even if you couldn't get to this year's Summit, you can still support our sport by responding to this Alert. The combination of your message and IMBA's presence on Capital Hill this week will amount to a full-court press on decision makers.
