Attend Crested Butte Fat Tire Bike Week and Help Shape Colorado Mountain Biking

The second annual Colorado Mountain Bike Summit  -- hosted by Colorado BLM and Forest Service, IMBA, Bicycle Colorado, and the Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce -- will be held on Thursday, June 28, and Friday, June 29, in the midst of one of the state's best bike events, the Crested Butte Fat Tire Bike Week.

Sign up for the Summit today to help shape the future of mountain biking in Colorado! View the schedule and register online. If you're unable to attend, please use the Tell a Friend Button at the bottom of this message to let someone else know about the event -- we're hoping to make the second Colorado Bike Summit even better than the first one!

The Summit will bring together land managers and mountain bike enthusiasts in order to develop innovative partnerships to improve the quality and quantity of riding opportunities on federal lands in Colorado. The program includes opportunities to learn about BLM and Forest Service planning processes, give guidance on developing volunteer trail stewardship of public lands and network with federal land managers.

All Summit participants will be eligible for free door prizes from the IMBA store. You'll also receive IMBA's newest book, Managing Mountain Biking and a collaborative US Forest Service/IMBA DVD on trail design and construction, plus a host of technical publications on trails. On Saturday, the award-winning Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew will conduct a classroom-based trailbuilding school in the morning, followed by an afternoon field session working on the Kebler Wagon Trail.

Rooms have been blocked for the CO MTB Summitattendees at the Three Seasons hotel. Call 800-451-5699 and reference the Colorado MTB Summit to reserve a room.
